Attorney Joy Nesmith is a partner at Baxter & Nesmith, LLC. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia. She is also admitted to the United States District Court in the Northern District of Georgia. While attending Loyola, Ms. Nesmith was introduced to bankruptcy law, and she had the privilege of clerking for the Eastern District of Louisiana Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee, J. Marshall Miller for over 2 years. She has represented hundreds of clients in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies and has stopped literally hundreds of foreclosures. In addition to practicing bankruptcy, she has practiced in the areas of real estate, business, family, and probate law.
