Firm Overview

We try cases. We have tried hundreds of cases to verdict in parishes throughout Louisiana, and in city, state, and federal courts. We are licensed in Louisiana and Texas. Many of our clients consider us their "go to" law firm when they are sued or when they are accused of a crime. Why?

We do an early, thorough investigation of every case.

We provide a timely, honest analysis of liability.

In civil cases, we offer a realistic evaluation of damages

In criminal cases, we seek the best possible outcome for the client, whether it be a plea agreement or through trial.

We are accessible to our clients.

First, as soon as we are hired, we thoroughly investigate the facts of the case. We interview witnesses. We go to accident scenes. We "get out in front" of every case on which we are hired. We do this in a matter of days and weeks; not months and years.

Second, in civil cases, we provide a timely, honest evaluation on liability and damages. We look at the risks and give our clients the "up" side and the "down" side of going to trial or settling. We continually update our clients as we gather additional information through the discovery process. We listen. We answer questions.

This approach allows our clients to make well-informed decisions about whether to settle the case, or take it to trial. When the decision is made, we focus our energies on achieving the client's desired goal. If the client decides to pursue settlement, we work to maximize our client's strengths and minimize weaknesses. If a client elects a trial, we work relentlessly toward our goal of being the most prepared lawyers in the courtroom.

Finally, in criminal cases we work tirelessly to investigate the facts of each case. We strive to keep our clients informed about each step of the proceedings. We analyze the risks of going to trial or accepting a plea agreement. We are committed to getting each client a fair trial or the best possible plea agreement, after assessing the witnesses and the evidence.

Our approach allows our criminal defendant clients to make well-informed decisions about accepting plea agreements or going to trial. Our courtroom experience provides an advantage to our clients who elect to go to trial.
