After acquiring his law degree, Attorney DiMauro pursued his Masters in Tax Law (LL.M.) from Boston University. With an LL.M. in Tax Law, he had the necessary background to represent taxpayers before the IRS or DRS. Today, with over 10 years of experience, Attorney DiMauro has continued to practice primarily tax law.
In my view, a Masters in Tax Law (LL.M.) is a major distinction between attorneys and tax attorneys. Although its not a requirement, an LL.M. clearly shows that the attorney has dedicated his time and effort in tax law. This degree is voluntary, not a requirement. Voluntarily pursuing such a degree implies that the attorney is serious about practicing tax law. Obviously with an LL.M. in tax law, Attorney DiMauro has distinguished himself from other attorneys who do not hold such a degree.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics from Central Connecticut State University, Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Quinnipiac School of Law, Masters in Tax Law (LL.M) from Boston University School of Law.

Attorney DiMauro has representated hundreds of taxpayers before the IRS and State of Connecticut Tax Authority (DRS). He assisted individuals and businesses, among other things, negotiate Offer in Compromises, Installment Agreements, and Innocent Spouse Claims. He has filed Appeals from Audits, levies, or liens.
