Law Offices of Andrew May PLLC

Law Offices of Andrew May PLLC

We bring a spirit of service to the practice of family law.

Firm Overview

Our aim is to help our clients find a way forward that will be efficient, affordable and fair.

We are not only courtroom advocates but dispute resolution professionals. Whether in court or in settlement discussions outside of court, we work to ensure that our clients are heard forcefully and clearly and that we ourselves listen carefully for opportunities to reach a constructive conclusion.

We know that a divorce or other family law issue presents one of the most stressful experiences many of our clients will ever face. That's why, in our view, exploring the possibility of an early settlement may be the most effective and vigorous way to advance our clients' financial, emotional and relational interests.

Andrew May

Andrew May is a graduate of Dartmouth College and an Order of the Coif graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, where he wont the law school's highest honors for appellate advocacy and taught legal writing to first-year law students.

After law school, he practiced complex civil litigation for a leading Seattle firm, where his work included obtaining summary judgment in a wrongful death action that would later help define the limits of proximate causation under Washington law. In 2007, Washington Law & Politics designated him a "Rising Star," and he soon expanded his practice to include family law, collaborative family law, and mediation.
