Firm Overview

Affordable Mass Divorce (AMD) is committed to helping families during the trying times of a separation and divorce by avoiding the often unnecessary cost and anguish of contentious litigation.

AMD provides varied approaches based on the best interest of the client

UNCONTESTED DIVORCE: Attorney DeSalvo will work with both of you, either together or individually, to identify the issues unique to your case and provide workable, mutually agreeable solutions both parties want. A professional, detailed divorce agreement and all required filings to obtain a divorce are provided for a set fee of $1,000 for both parties, to be split however you agree. Attorney DeSalvo will work with you as long as needed to reach an agreement. If an agreement cannot be met, there is NO FEE and the parties are free to seek individual counsel to litigate their divorce.

INDIVIDUAL COLLABORATIVE REPRESENTATION: Attorney DeSalvo can represent you individually in a collaborative divorce when both parties and their respective counsel voluntarily agree to attempt a divorce settlement without threat of contested litigation. If an agreement cannot be reached, both attorneys disqualify themselves from representing their client in any future family law related litigation. This approach provides the confidence inherent in personal representation within the context of settlement negotiations aimed at empowering parties to make life-long decisions by themselves instead of a court. Collaborative divorce is substantially less expensive than litigation and can help preserve post-divorce relationships.

FAMILY LAW LEGAL ASSISTANCE: An affordable solution for clients who plan on representing themselves. Attorney DeSalvo can assist you and provide limited representation on Child Support and Alimony Modifications, Adoptions, Separate Support Orders, and other family law actions. Services include drafting required court documents, negotiating settlements, and providing legal advice and strategy for clients.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Not every divorce can or should be uncontested; situations involving the immediate welfare of children, abuse, and or abandonment of financial responsibilities require immediate, zealous in-court representation by a traditional Divorce Attorney.

For many families however, a collaborative approach to reaching an uncontested divorce can be attempted and achieved. Attorney DeSalvo has facilitated countless divorce agreements for clients over the past 20 years, saving clients thousands of dollars in lawyer fees and helping them maintain post-divorce relationships.
