One-on-one meetings all over Colorado. I generally try to set meetings when I have 341 hearings locally, but I am more than happy to do a phone consultation followed by emailing or snail-mailing you all the documents. I prefer to meet at least once

Firm Overview

I have helped run the three biggest bankruptcy firms in the State of Colorado, but now I want a little more sanity and control of my schedule. I have handled thousands of petitions and will give you realistic expectations, reasonable fees, and my hard work. I don't just want to do your bankruptcy; I want to do your sister's, neighbor's, and co-worker's bankruptcy case too. I can charge less on fees because I do a great job and usually get good referral traffic. You will appreciate my knowledge of bankruptcy and that I am down to earth.

I'm 34 years old, married, and lame, we go to bed at 10pm, and I love my life (although being married is the hardest thing that I've ever done) :)

I went to undergrad in Boulder on a full-ride academic scholarship and used to party and be cool. I even worked at the Sink in Boulder, but now I love my job and having the ability to be paid well and help people in the process.

Bankruptcy
99% Bankruptcy. I love bankruptcy.

1% all the types of cases my friends and family here in Colorado get into trouble for, typically speeding and DUIs.
Small strong one attorney law firm. I am always outnumbered, but never outgunned.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

After using my last ten credits of law school to extern at the Supreme Court Law Library, I clerked for a Judge in Adams County. He taught me more than my two year sprint through law school. In law, you can either help people into or out of trouble. My work rewards me with some really nice Christmas cards, and I try and keep it professional, but everyone always wants to hug me after we strip off their second mortgage in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

I'm just a hard-working Irish guy from Chicago. I never planned to be a lawyer. After CU-Boulder I worked in Chicago and our family business is Union 134 Electrical work in Chicago. I have worked as an electrician since I was 15 years old. Electrical can be hard, cold, hot, and dangerous work, and, as much as I love my uncles, when your bosses are also your Uncle John, Uncle Bill, and Uncle Jimmy, it makes you wish quietly that one day you can have a job that doesn't involve touching live 480!

I bring that same work ethic to my bankruptcy petitions. I try an get your petition as accurate and clean as possible and really manage your stress. If you gather your last six months of paystubs, last two years of taxes, fill out some basic paperwork from me, and share your story fully, then we'll have a great petition and you will know exactly what to expect.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Call me now (303) 396-2884 and I'll pick up or call you back within 24 hours. Email is usually an even faster response time. I never work on Sundays, but if you put emergency in the title, I will respond accordingly.
