Normand & Associates has been experiencing a rise of people needing help with their SSDI claims. We noticed that people with disabilities were getting SSA denials at an ever increasing rate. Fairness and compassion was the main reason to get involved with people who were so vulnerable to life's risks and tragedies. Fairness by definition is a state or condition that is free from bias and injustice. Normand & Associates practice fairness and compassion every day. The SSA is fair but they lack compassion. It is quite rewarding to win a case that seemed unlikely to prevail at the start. We constantly have to remind people that workers who have become disabled have already paid for their disability benefits through their paychecks. Practicing SSDI law is an important cornerstone of a compassionate social safety-net set up by the federal government. Our practice is an important part of this safety-net. Being a part of helping people to navigate this egalitarian pursuit gives all the staff a sense of doing something positive. The disabled people that we help are grateful for our service to their needs. When the case is ultimately won and a claim is awarded we all know how important we were to that client and that is how feel good about ourselves.
Attorney Jim Normand has invested countless hours in building the Social Security Disability Rights Center (SSDRC). Mr. Normand has personally argued cases before the Social Security Adminstration. 30 Years of experience in helping injured people navigate the legal process has afforded the attorneys at the SSDRC to deliver better service to our clients. This experience has been the education that matters most to our clients. Our attorney's are members of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR). NOSSCR is a leader in disability advocacy and continuing education. This year not only did our lawyers go to the conference, but two non attorneys from the SSDRC went as well so that our office staff can understand how the SSDI law works. This broadening of our education and experience benefits the client by our ability to build a case that makes sense to the SSA according to their rules and interpretations. It's not enough to have a theory of a case. A client with the SSDRC will be part of team of people that understands the entire process and not just the legal part.
Trustworthiness. We are trusted advisors to our clients, because they know we will always do it right -- or refer then to someone who will. We keep our word. We speak the truth, without exaggeration, even if the truth is not what the client wants to hear. Whatever needs to be done on their behalf will be accomplished properly and with their best interest in mind.
Service. We care about and identify with our clients. People come to us because they know we solve problems and get things done in a thorough, thoughtful and timely manner. We approach every problem as if they were our own and every client as if he or she were a valued member of our family.
Excellence & Pride. The entire Norman & associates team takes pride in the quality of our work. We understand that each of us must perform at the highest level of excellence if we truly are to serve the clients at the Normand & Associates standard.
Loyalty. We are committed to the mission and values of Normand & Associates. This is more than a job. It's the spirit and attitude. It shows in how we work together and on our own. We are ever mindful of the impact of our words and actions on our clients and each other. We respect and care about each other. We support one another in our jobs and lives.
To have Normand & Associates recognized as a successful team of compassionate legal professionals considered to be among the best New Hampshire law firms in the general practice of law, concentrating in disability and personal injury claims.
