M.J. Keefe is an attorney who practices and teaches other attorneys how to become better trial attorneys. He is a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College, the most advanced trial practice school in the country, and returns for advanced courses each year. In addition, MJ works with lawyers throughout the country on cases and trial skills. In 2012, he taught at a cross examination workshop in California in September, an insurance coverage disputes seminar in December, and an ethics seminar in New Mexico in December. He regularly appears on panels and leads focus groups for trial preparation. MJ has over 25 years of trial practice experience.

The firm concentrates on handling cases that will be tried and offers to try cases that others cannot settle. While most claims settle (over 90%), the key to getting the best settlement is to prepare the case as if it was going to trial, and trying cases when clients are not satisfied with the offers made by opposing parties. We educate our clients about their chances at trial, and go forward when settlement cannot be reached. We believe our clients are prepared for their involvement in their cases. Clients are involved in various aspects of their cases, most notably in deposition, answering written questions from the opponents, attending settlement conferences, and being witnesses at trial. Each client is prepared to perform at each stage of the case. Most clients worry about how they will perform, and about the outcome.
