Gerald D. Brody
Gerald Brody was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the University of Florida where he obtained a degree in accounting. Following undergrad, Gerald went to the University of Miami Law School and graduated in 1969. He became a vista attorney in Chicago, Illinois and entered private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL after becoming licensed in Florida in 1969. In 1974, Gerald moved to San Diego, CA and became a licensed attorney in CA. He started his own law practice in 1976 handling criminal and personal injury trials. In the early 1980 he started representing injured workers and jointed the California Applicant Attorney Association. Mr. Brodys practice is now exclusively devoted to handling workers compensation cases for injured workers. Gerald is a member of the Supreme Court of Florida and California. Matthew E. Russell was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in South Bend, Indiana. He attended Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ where he obtained bachelors degrees in History, Political Science and English. Matthew then moved to San Diego, CA where he received his law degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in May 2007. After passing the July 2007 California bar exam, he became licensed to practice in December 2007. Matthew workers compensation experience arises from a legal internship during law school with a boutique law office in San Diego handling claims for City of San Diego and County of San Diego police and firefighters. Following law school, he joined an employment law firm in San Diego in the workers compensation department handling a wide array of injuries on behalf of injured workers with many of the largest unions in San Diego County including Municipal Employees Association, Teamsters, United Food and Commercial Workers, California Teachers Association and many others.
