How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a legal assistant and office manager for a disability practice. I worked closely with the disabled in developing their claims. I interviewed clients, developed their records, and answered general questions. I developed the belief that behind every case is a story. Every individual applying for benefits is not just a number. He or she deserved quality representation. In my own practice, I strive every day to provide my clients with representation that they can count on.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

During my years in college, both in undergrad and law school, I worked with claimants applying for Social Security Disability and SSI benefits. I am very familiar with the disability process, and know what it takes to develop and track cases to ensure their timely resolution.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

My office provides dedicated representation in English and Spanish. We use technology to ensure prompt communication with clients on the status of their cases so that they do not feel left in the dark.

Jonathan Pena

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jonathan worked as a paralegal with Social Security claimants developing their claims from initiation to closing for many years. As a practicing attorney, Jonathan has represented many claimants with a variety of impairments, both mental and physical. Jonathan represents disabled children and adults.

He takes a compassionate approach to representing social security applicants. He understands the need for benefits, the frustration of going through this long process alone, he provides aggressive representation.
