Attorney Horan McLean has been practicing law since 1992, first as a sole practitioner, and later as founding partner of the Law firm of Horan McLean & Horan. She is a 1986 magna cum laude graduate of Providence College. Attorney Horan McLean graduated from New England School of Law in Boston in 1992 Summa Cum Laude, with many distinctions including the receipt of the New England Scholar award multiple years and the American Jurisprudence Book Awards for a number of subjects.
Attorney Horan McLean has been involved in many community endeavors including the Massachusetts, Bristol and New Bedford Bar Associations. She served as Treasurer, Secretary and Vice Chair of the New Bedford Bar Association, as well as the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce. Attorney McLean was elected and served on the Dartmouth Select board in Dartmouth for three years. While on the Dartmouth Select board, Attorney McLean, upon being voted by her fellow board members, served as Chairperson of the Dartmouth Select Board. Attorney McLean is a member of the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce and has served as a Smiles Mentor with the Smiles Mentoring Program. She was previously employed as an Assistant Clerk Magistrate in the Trial Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, responsible for the general administration of court business of the District Court.
Attorney McLean enjoys representing her clients in matters involving civil litigation, family and divorce law, motor vehicle accident cases and personal injury matters, estate planning and bankruptcy.
