Our fees are set by the Federal Government on Social Security Disability claims as well as Veteran Disability Claims. Oklahoma Workers' Compensation claims attorney fees are set by State Statute.

Roger Hale is Managing Partner and supervising attorney of our Social Security Department and has appeared at thousands of Social Security Hearings over the last 21 years.
Bryan Kingery is the Managing Partner and supervising attorney of our Oklahoma Workers' Compensation department and limits his practice to only Oklahoma Workers' Compensation claims.
Juan Maldonado, the newest attorney and now Partner of the Firm was born in Puerto Rico but moved to the States when he was 10 years old. Mr. Maldonado is obviously fluent in both Spanish and English and is trying cases before the Social Security Administration nearly every day.
Our Social Security practice covers all of Oklahoma, the northern half of Texas from as far South and West as Austin to as far South and East as Texarkana. We also cover Joplin and Springfield Missouri as well as most of Kansas, Arkansas and Colorado.
Our VA Disability practice covers the Region served by the Waco, TX VA Regional Office and the Muskogee, OK VA Regional Office.
Our Workers' Compensation practice covers ONLY Oklahoma.
Our staff includes two Legal Assistants that are fluent in Spanish and English. We also have dedicated Legal Assistants for various steps in the process of seeking Social Security Disability Benefits.

Mr. Hale limits his practice to Social Security, VA Disability and very select Personal Injury cases.
Mr. Maldonado limits his practice to the areas of Social Security Disability and Oklahoma Workers' Compensation claims.
Mr. Hale, Mr. Kingery and Mr. Maldonado are all "Trial Attorneys" who are normally in Court nearly every day of the week, but are always available to return your calls or questions.
Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?
It really all depends upon the individual circumstances of each case. There are often times that we will be able to assist with just a certain part, such as just filing an Appeals Council request for review and a brief.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?
We are not paid unless we win the case; therefore the division of duties on a case is based fully upon providing the best service to the client.
We have highly trained Legal Assistants that are responsible for only certain steps in the process of obtaining benefits. This helps guarantee the very best possible service to our clients.
While we help thousands of people each year get their benefits, we never treat you as just "a number" and you will always have only and experienced trial attorney represent you in any hearings.
How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?
We do frequently use mediation in our Oklahoma Workers' Compensation claims. However, mediation is currently not available to Social Security Disability and/or VA Disability claims.
Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?
Yes, we sponsor several local school sports teams as well as various donations to these schools throughout the year.
Our attorneys and staff also provide Free Legal Assistance (Pro Bono) to select special circumstance cases. You would have to contact our office at 1-800-522-4595 to see if you qualify.

Our Firm has been fully electronic (paperless) since even before the Social Security Administration switched to a paperless format.
At Wyatt, Kingery, Hale & Maldonado we have state of the art technology to properly protect and back-up all of our client data. We DO NOT store client data on the Internet or in a "cloud" environment due to our own individual security concerns as well as accessibility while on the road.
Our Firm has been in continuous business since the 1970's as is very highly regarded by the Administrative Law Judges that we deal with on a regular basis.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
At Wyatt, Kingery, Hale & Maldonado we believe that it is extremely important for you to be actively involved in your case. You cannot do this unless you take just a little bit of time to get familiar with how the system works.
Our staff informs our clients from the very beginning of the claim as to what will be happening in the case and approximately how long the entire process will last. However, it can only help you understand the system better if you review the information we provide to you in our Booklet.
We believe that hiring an attorney is one of the most important decisions you may ever have to make. Gaining all the information you can about an attorney and/or Law Firm will help to make that decision easier.
Calling the State Bar Association to check on an attorney's ethical history is highly recommended, it is also important to actually call or email some of the attorneys you are thinking about hiring to find out more in-depth information directly from them. This will also let you know from the start just how long it takes for the attorney to respond to your questions.
Ask other people you know if they have heard anything about the Firm, but never base you final decision just upon one or two opinions from former clients. As you are aware, not everyone is always going to be completely happy with a Firm or attorney.
Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?
We will always read over any documents you send to our office and let you know if they are helpful to your case and help you edit the document if needed.
We do not recommend preparing any of the "Forms" required by Social Security on your own once you have selected an attorney as there are certain key phrases or words that need to be included in some of these documents.
Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
We will explain the administrative process to you so that you do understand the basic workings of the system. However, it takes years of experience and training to completely understand how each step of the Social Security Process works and there is no way we can teach that over the phone, in writing or even in person.
There is a very old saying in the law that can be paraphrased as: "He who represents himself before the law has a fool for a client." There is a very sound reason for this statement as it is just not possible for you to fully and completely represent yourself as well as an experienced attorney who has done thousands of these types of cases.
