Firm Focus
I earned my bachelor's degree from Boston College in 1995. I spent the next four years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marines.
Since 9/11, the Nation has called on me to come back to duty in the Marine Corps Reserve a few more times, as the American people have looked to the Guard and Reserve to meet the unique demands of our current conflicts.
I concluded a rewarding career in the Marine Corps, finishing at the rank of major.
I entered Gonzaga University School of Law in 1999, and was recalled for nearly two years of additional active duty following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. I returned to law school after this service, and was admitted to practice law in Washington in 2004. Since then, I have been an active attorney, working on behalf of individual clients and businesses. I maintain current professional memberships, including:
• American Bar Association
• Washington State Bar Association
• American Immigration Lawyers Association
I have worked in private practice as a solo attorney and in a law firm setting. I have also provided business advice as corporate counsel for federal contractors and for a financial services firm.
Call me with your legal questions. Regardless whether you are calling about your rights as a frustrated consumer wrestling with debt, as a disabled person in need of relief, as Veteran, as an Immigrant, as an American sponsor of an Immigrant, or as a frustrated taxpayer, I can give you a consultation on the spot.
If your question requires answers outside of my expertise, my own informal professional network of colleagues is just a phone call away. So, if I cannot help with your specific need, I can always help put you in touch with the right legal advisor.

Do you think you have a good sense for the work or conflict you face? You're probably right!
Some of the best value I have ever given to a client was the opportunity to just sit quietly, privately, and confidentially, to review small claims paperwork, a dispute letter, or a set of forms. If you know where your issue is headed and just need to double-check your work, give me a call for a low-cost, no-commitment consultation to help you on your way. More than likely, I can help you with your problem today — maybe within just a few hours of your call. If not, I have a great network of like-minded colleagues who can help with your more specific issues.
I think of my job as a pathfinder for people. Sometimes, a client is just too busy to investigate a legal issue himself, so I can take on the whole case. Other times, a client just needs a little coaching to get through a small issue on a case he can handle himself. Most of the time, the best help I can give is somewhere in between, and I think that is what the service of a pathfinder is all about.
I am a home-based professional, and this translates into lower fees and higher responsiveness. If you call my number, you will speak to me.
