Firm History

Established in 2005, the Law Offices of Bob Nehoray is a boutique law firm located in the Mid-Wilshire area, ten minutes west of downtown Los Angeles. From its inception, the firm has placed an emphasis on providing legal services that make sense from the client's perspective. We analyze all our matters from a practical and legal viewpoint to ensure that our services are not only in the client's best legal interest, but also take into consideration each client's individual needs. Our firm strives to provide outstanding legal services while minimizing costs to provide the best possible value to our clients. A concerted effort is made in each case to maintain thorough communication with the client. Such personalized attention not only saves the client unnecessary administrative costs, but also enables the firm's lawyers to better understand the client's ultimate needs and objectives.

Activities and Awards

We have had a jury verdict published in the Daily Journal and have handled a high profile case against Jan Adams M.D., the physician who treated Kanye West's mother.

Example Cases

We have obtained a $1.5 million settlement on a slip and fall case and a jury verdict in excess of $1 million on a small impact auto case.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is very important for clients to, not only, educate themselves on the issues pertaining to their case, but also to get to know the attorney representing them. Our attorneys work one-on-one with clients to help them understand the laws and legal processes that are relevant to their specific case. Because of the complexities involved in the legal system, a client who understands the law will more effectively contribute to the merits of his/her case. We encourage clients to visit our office for a free consultation, so that they may meet and familiarize themselves with the person who will be representing them in court.

Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Our attorneys will review documents prepared by clients on a case-by-case basis.

Are your attorneys willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

While we generally encourage clients to retain an attorney for complex matters, we are open to coach clients who are self-representing themselves depending on the facts and circumstances of each matter. Because of the complexities involved with the legal system, a client should seek advice from an experienced attorney.

Are your attorneys willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Depending on the case, our attorneys may be willing to help a client with a discrete part of a case.

What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Because seeking a lawyer is often expensive, our office will utilize paralegals and legal aids whenever possible to reduce the costs associated with litigation. However, it is important for clients to know the difference between contingency-based cases and cases that are billable. Many of our cases are based on contingency fees, where our office will only collect fees when the client is rewarded damages.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Our office prefers to settle cases through mediation and arbitration, as opposed to going to trial, because alternative dispute resolution settles the matter more quickly and also reduces the costs of litigation.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We pride ourselves on the level of service we offer to all clients. We make it a priority to ensure that the client is fully aware of the status of the case and is comfortable with the legal process. Our firm believes that our role as attorneys extends beyond the courtroom and our attorneys know that we need to understand each client's individual situation in order to provide legal services that are in their best interests.
