Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

It depends. We will write letters, and assist people with pro se (do it yourself) forms.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

We use third party neutrals e.g., mediators, when the case calls for it. Many family law cases are resolved through settlement of the parties and reaching settlement is easier with mediators or through the collaborative law process.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

We provide pro bono services to clients referred from Volunteer Lawyers Network and the Tubman Center.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Keenan Law Firm provides top rate representation and treats each case with care and attention.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

At Keenan Law Firm we believe that clients should understand the legal issues they face. We produce an excellent legal blog designed for the public and have an open door policy when it comes to client communication. No question or concern is too small. Our clients are fully informed of their legal obligations and rights.

Yes.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
