David uses his 30 years of experience as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse to gather and develop all the medical evidence necessary for proving a case. He sits in most initial interviews, works directly with the client and serves as an important link between the treating physicians, the medical experts and the law firm. Ivan A. Ramos has been practicing law since 1993. He has focused tirelessly in labor law, employment discrimination and general civil litigation. He has represents clients all over the state of Connecticut in both Federal and State Courts, on both trial and appellate levels, as well as before Federal and State Boards and Commissions. He also has extensive experience handling administrative matters before municipal agencies. After his retirement from public service, he realized his lifelong dream of starting his own law firm. He increasingly has begun to concentrate a considerable part of his practice in social security disability claims and personal injury. Ramos is a sustaining member of NOSSCR: the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. Ivan Ramos was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of two lawyers. His parents instilled in him the importance of helping people and serving justice. "They constantly reminded me that my ancestors in the Western part of the Island had very humble beginnings. From them, I learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate in their hour of need" says Ramos. Attorney Ramos received his legal education from the University of Connecticut School of Law, (J.D.). He received his B.A. from Clark University, where he majored in English. He is fluent in Spanish.

David Oellerich, the Firm's Legal Nurse Consultant, prepares and analyses the medical evidence needed to win a Social Security Disability case or a Long Terms Disability Appeal. His involvement allows attorney Ramos to use his time more efficiently and focus primarily on the legal issues in the case.
