David Oellerich, the Firm's Legal Nurse Consultant, prepares and analyses the medical evidence needed to win a Social Security Disability case or a Long Terms Disability Appeal. Our firm is very active in organizations that assist persons with disabling conditions such as the Lupus Foundation, Inc. We also assist members of the Hartford, Connecticut homeless community in obtaining social security disability benefits.
Clients who are seeking disability benefits receive personalized attention from Attorney Ramos throughout the entire process. The law firm's unique approach includes the hands on assistance of David Oellerich, a legal nurse consultant who helps claimants obtain and document all the necessary information regarding symptoms, medical history, treatment, medications, physical and mental limitations, and work history. David is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who uses his 30 years of clinical experience to gather and develop all the medical evidence necessary for proving a case. He sits in interviews, works directly with the client and serves as an important link between the treating physicians, the medical experts and the law firm. "I treat clients at the law firm with the same care and compassion that I have given to my patients at the hospital" --says David. We understand that this is a difficult time for you and know that preparing a complex appeal is the last thing on your mind when you are trying to cope with a serious medical condition. In many instances, we have seen how these hardships are worsened by the financial constraints that are created when a claimant is unable to work. For this reason, we believe that part of our responsibility as a law firm is to work as a team with your doctors, medical providers and loved ones. In addition, we do not charge you any legal fees until the insurance company issues the payments that you are entitled to. If you do not get paid by the insurance company, we do not charge you for our legal fees. You are only responsible for paying the costs associated with pursuing the appeal.
We believe that clients who are willing to learn about the legal issues that affect them, are more likely to obtain a favorable result.
