Currently, Keith Gantenbein of The Gantenbein Law Firm is the only foreclosure defense attorney, now in private practice, to have previously represented bankers and lenders in over 60,000 foreclosure cases. His experience in handling tens of thousands of cases gives him the edge to now help homeowners. He is the only attorney to have inside knowledge of foreclosure firms and to have 'whistleblown' on their practice. Mr. Gantenbein has worked with Rep. Beth McCann and other policy makers in trying to change and balance the foreclosure laws so homeowners have an equal footing.
The Gantenbein Law Firm strives first and foremost to save the homeowner's home.
Most attorneys encourage bankruptcy and litigation first. However, many times the homeowner will still lose their home if they pursue these options first.
Mr. Gantenbein understands precisely how a bankruptcy and/or litigation affect the foreclosure and will work with the client to pursue ALL their available options- including bankrutpcy and/or litigation- with an emphasis on saving the home or extending the homeowner's time in their home.
Mr. Gantenbein is a published author on the Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act (PTFA), has given testimony before the Colorado House committee on a bill to help homeowners, (see front page, Denver Post, March 13, 2012), and is a frequent guest at various institutions and radio shows where he familiarizes the audience with Colorado's unique foreclosure laws.
Mr. Gantenbein has taught several classes and a CLE on Foreclosure Defense.
