As a boutique, most of our work is handled directly by the responsible partner. We believe that this is more cost effective than leveraging several associates per partner, and provides the client with a better service. Where significant research is required, we employ law clerks from the local law schools, which we bill at a significant discount to typical associate fees.
Most cases are settled well prior to trial, but often not through the mechanisms of mediation or arbitration.

We offer the quality of the world's largest firms, but with the personal connection that comes from a small law practice.
We do our best to put ourselves in the client's shoes. Dana Robinson, for example, has owned four businesses and is an investor in many others. He believes that clients are best served by learning as much as possible about what he does so that they can use their lawyers more effectively and efficiently.
In some instances, but we find that many documents that are "standard" are cheaper for us to provide from scratch than to review and revise what was created by the client.
Not typically. A client who desires to negotiate their own agreement, for example, can use us for the "behind the scenes" work without having us take the forefront of their negotiation. However, we do not work with pro per litigants.
