Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Again, I would recommend the client come in for a consultation, but I am not opposed to helping with only one portion of the client's case.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

I am a solo practitioner, so I have a low overhead which allows me to offer more economical rates. Unlike my big law firm counterparts, I can offer individualized attention to each of my clients at affordable prices. Moreover, it is Taylor Law's policy to return phone calls within 24 hours.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

It depends first on the goals of the client and whether the situation warrants these alternatives. If it makes sense for the client and his or her economy, then I will utilize these options as often as possible.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Yes. One of my law school's missions was to "serve the underserved." I attended the school because I firmly believe in this philosophy and intend to support it through pro bono work in the community as much as possible.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

The type of service the client will receive. Taylor Law prides itself on bringing integrity back to the legal profession and making clients feel comfortable. Clients will receive individualized attention, and will be able to contact their attorney directly.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Knowledge is power. I encourage the public to educate itself. However, I also caution people not to believe everything they read on the internet. Not everything on the internet is always accurate. I offer a free consultation, and it may be beneficial to get the facts for free.

I went to law school to help people. Therefore, I am willing to assist clients as much as possible.

I went to law school because I knew I wanted to help people. After taking bankruptcy in law school and working for the United States Bankruptcy Administrator, I knew I could help people by helping them navigate the waters to financial freedom. With the desire to help people at the forefront of my mission, I wanted to practice law in a way that is moral and honorable while still zealously advocating for my clients.
