Donna Greenspan Solomon offers relief for busy litigators not yet ready to hire a full-time attorney. Donna provides litigation, trial, and appellate support on an "of-counsel" (contract) basis. Donna is an experienced commercial litigator as well as appellate attorney. She was in the litigation and insurance coverage departments of a large national firm for twelve years before starting her own practice. Donna is Florida Bar Certified in Business Litigation as well as Appellate Practice.

Donna is available to assist in all stages of litigation, including drafting of pleadings, motions, and memoranda, preparation of discovery requests, document review and analysis, preparation of timelines and chronologies, taking depositions, and arguing motions.

Donna Greenspan Solomon

Donna has a uniquely blended background as experienced commercial litigator, appellate attorney, and former certified public accountant. She has handled a wide variety of real estate and other contract disputes, employment litigation, insurance coverage disputes and bad faith, and trademark and copyright litigation. Donna has represented clients in state and federal proceedings, at the trial court level and on appeal.

After graduating No. 1 from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, Donna clerked at the Fourth District Court of Appeal for Justice Barbara J. Pariente, now serving on the Florida Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, Donna was with the national law firm now known as Edwards Wildman for twelve years. Donna then became a partner with a boutique litigation firm where she chaired the firm's appellate practice section.

Before becoming a lawyer, Donna was a CPA with an MBA in Finance. After working for Price Waterhouse in New York City, she became a Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Penn Central Corporation. After moving to Florida in 1987, Donna became an Assistant Vice President/Manager of Financial Reporting for Intercontinental Bank in Miami, and then performed financial systems analysis for American Express before entering law school.

Donna opened her own firm in 2011. Donna limits her practice to:

* Litigation, Trial, and Appellate Support.

Donna has been recognized with several awards for her pro bono work and has been a leader in various professional organizations. Donna has published numerous articles, given presentations, and participated in panel discussions concerning various business-related areas of the law. Donna also taught Accounting for Lawyers as an adjunct professor for Shepard Broad Law Center at NovaSoutheastern University. Donna blogs about ADR-related issues.

Donna is a passionate believer in resolving disputes through mediation and/or arbitration rather than by judge or jury.
