Founding attorney Jeff Robinette began his career as an associate, and later partner, of one of West Virginia's most preeminent law firms representing insurance companies and defending against personal injury lawsuits. Robinette Law Office was established in 1999 as primarily an insurance defense firm. As a result of firm growth, we later changed our name to Robinette Legal Group, PLLC. For most of our years of practice, our firm focused on insurance defense work. Our clients included many of the largest corporations in West Virginia and nationwide. That experience gave us skill and knowledge that we now bring to the plaintiff's side of the table. We know how the defense team will defend against your claim - and armed with this information, we develop the highest level of strategy to overcome the defense and prove your case at trial.

In January 2006, The Sago Mine Disaster in Sago, West Virginia, gave our attorneys the opportunity to stand in the shoes of families seeking justice and financial compensation for the unsafe working conditions and management negligence that led to the explosion and deaths. We were given the opportunity to represent plaintiffs and family members. Using our insurance defense experience, we were able to anticipate the defense lawyers' next steps and counter with solid evidence that made the difference in court. Since that time our law firm has handled many significant injury and death claims, but due to the confidential nature of the settlements, our law firm cannot publish all of these results.
