Example Cases

Information coming soon.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Representation is a partnership. An informed client is a positive and necessary component to an effective attorney — client relationship.

Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Of course.

Are your attorneys willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We often advise and meet with clients to help them find solutions to their problems and assist them if they are choosing to represent themselves.

Are your attorneys willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes.

What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

We believe that it is primarily the attorney who handles the case. If you call us, we endeavor to have the clients talk directly to an attorney, rather than forcing them to go through lawyers of staff and support. However, the representation of a client is a cooperative affair, supported by the entirety of the office.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

While we are lawyers, trained in the law, we are open to alternative methods of settlement; however, we never loose sight that our responsibility is to our client's interests foremost.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Our firm and its predecessors have been active in various pro bono activities.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Personal Service: When our clients call, we make a genuine effort to get one of our lawyers to speak with them. Unless none are available — which is fairly uncommon — you will be able to talk with a lawyer whenever you need to. If no one can talk to you right away, we will call back as soon as possible.

We feel that the "service" of law is a profession worth following. The law, our rules and regulations, is a tool to solve problems and disputes in society. Being a lawyer is a way for us to facilitate positive change and give back to our communities, preserving the fabric of discourse and family life and supporting our growth as people.
Everyone deserves to have someone stand with him or her against the power of the government and entrenched corporate interests. Our lawyers are not afraid to stand up for you and zealously advocate for your rights.
