What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We always thoroughly explain the legal issues to each client and will welcome any questions clients may have as a result of research they have performed. An informed client is always a more satisfied client, and those who self-educate will generally have a greater understanding of the legal process and the many factors which are involved in preparing and implementing a strategy which will lead to success. For example, a client who understands some of the legal issues related to hit-and-run accidents or drunk-driving accidents will be better prepared for a consultation with one of our personal injury lawyers.

Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We will always review any document prepared by a client. This will generally provide insight into details which the client might not otherwise recall at a later time. Often, statements, notes, drawings, and other documents prepared by a client will lead to the discovery of important facts in a given situation. This may help strengthen any type of personal injury case, from auto and motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, and slip and falls to brain or spinal cord injury and wrongful death.

We will assist clients in the development of a matter that they wish to handle on their own. While I'm willing to help clients this way, I let them know that having legal representation is almost always a better decision
