What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

When it comes to car accidents the more knowledge the client has the better. We encourage our clients to get as much information as possible, as soon as possible, about the legal and insurance issues regarding their car accident or other personal injury cases. We work diligently to keep them informed about the issues regarding personal injury claims as well as details of their cases and coach them on how deal with the people that will be contacting them throughout their case. We try our utmost to educate injury victims about insurance company tricks and the proper procedure for handling their injury claim. If you feel like your attorney isn't giving you all the facts about your car accident or other injury, give our friendly staff here at the Injury Law Center a call and we will be happy answer your questions.

Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes.

Are your attorneys willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We are happy to give free informal telephone advice, but we cannot fully assist or represent clients for their injuries without a contingent fee agreement.

Are your attorneys willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes, but we ordinarily want to handle all aspects of a client's personal injury case. This ensures that the clients get the the best overall results and insures against insurance company tricks.

What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

We work to keep costs as low as possible for clients. Because we specialize in settling personal injury cases we ensure that our clients avoid having to deal with legnthy and expensive litigation when it isn't necessary, and because we settle cases on a contingency, it means that we don't get paid unless you do! How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

We only use these methods when we cannot reach a reasonable settlement with an insurance company or other third party for our client's injury case and it is in the client's best interests. If a settlement isn't possible we use these methods as alternatives to litigation to ensure that our costs stay as low as possible and that our clients cases end in the best result possible.
