Michael Sterner
Michael Sterner entered the practice of law after ten years working in forestry consulting and land conservation. He gained tax experience as an attorney at the Internal Revenue Service. Now in private practice, he applies his knowledge of property and land use law to represent clients in real estate transactions, probate and property disputes. He applies his knowledge of tax law to counsel individuals, businesses and tax-exempt entities. He advocates for taxpayers in federal and Oregon tax controversies. Mr. Sterner frequently speaks to rural landowner groups on estate planning and tax issues.
