What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I believe it is very important for the client to be well educated about their case and to be informed at all times as to what is going on in their case. My clients receive copies of pleadings filed in their case and receive status updates either via email, mail or phone call from my office on a regular basis. All phone calls are returned in a timely manner.

What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

My legal assistant tackles many tasks that help the legal process more cost effective for the client. My legal assistant is always available to facilitate coordinating my time and the clients time so that no one wastes time. I do prepare all the pleadings in my office and I am always available as a first line of contact for the client, however, if for some reason I am not available my legal assistant can is always hear and available to help in any way she can.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Mediation is a wonderful tool used in many family law cases and many of my cases settle in mediation.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

Yes.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I am a hand's on attorney who is always available to my clients. When you call my office you will always be able to reach me directly. I aggressively prepare every case for trial; however, I understand the financial and emotional toll family law cases and take on families and I will work with you to resolve your case if possible without the need for litigation.
