Free Initial Consultation?

Yes. Most of our cases are handled on a contingent fee basis so there is NEVER a fee for talking to your lawyer or the client liaison when we take on your contingent fee case. The other 10% of our cases for which we receive an hourly fee are provided with a complimentary 30 minute initial consultation.

Services Offered For Fixed Fees?

90% of our cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. Our fees range from 25% of back due amounts in Social Security Disability cases to 45% of any recovery in medical malpractice cases in which we have filed a lawsuit. Typical personal injury cases are done for a 33 ?% contingent fee iif resolved prior to a lawsuit being filed and 40% thereafter.

Hourly Rates

$175 / hour however the vast majority of our clients are represented on a contingent fee basis. We are open to a hybrid contingent and hourly fee combination. If interested call or email to discuss.

Yes.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

90% of our cases are handled on a contingent fee basis meaning that the firm is not paid until there is a successful resolution to the case. In other words, there is no money due out of pocket at the time we are hired to handle most of our cases. Your case is handled by the lawyer and a client liaison who will work as a team to advance your case as quickly and efficiently as possible and always in the client's best interest.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

We are open to a variety of alternative dispute resolution methods and advise our clients on the benefits of such approaches. A significant number of our personal injury and labor cases, once suit is filed, go to mediation.

Mr. Rosskopf participates in programs with Jacksonville Area Legal Aide (JALA) in the areas of special needs trusts and immigration.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We do "House-Calls." Mr. Rosskopf can make arrangements to meet with you face to face at a location near your home. We are also uniquely positioned to assist with animal/dog attacks, swimming pool and beach drowning victims, bicycle injuries resulting from road hazards, dangerous drivers, and product defects.

An educated client is an excellent client who asks appropriate questions and understands that the guidance and counsel an experienced attorney will add value to their case.

You will find Mr. Rosskopf to be extremely helpful guiding you through your claim however there comes a point when his advice may be to the client that he or she is in over his/her head and needs to hire me or some other attorney.
