The office works with individuals and families from dealing with the administrative process of losing a loved one to getting their financial situation in order. Attorney Mitchell accepts cases in Trusts & Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Probate, Conservatorship, Guardianship, Adoption, and Immigration.

The office was established in February 2011.

Activities and Awards

I volunteer at the Guardianship Clinic in Berkeley and the Senior Clinic in Martinez. I also participate in Lawyers in the Library Program in Oakland. I am a member of both the Alameda County Bar Association and the Contra Costa Bar Association.

As a solo practitioner I am involved at all levels of a client’s case. For administrative work I will try to have an assistant available.

If the case would benefit from the use of mediation we are happy to take advantage of that option.

Yes. We also participate in clinics in the community and coordinate free presentations.

We understand that when someone comes to us with particular issue that they may have other problems that need to be addressed first. We focus on the person and getting them connected with professionals or resources that they need.

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the state agency that licenses lawyers upon joining the directory.
