Law Office of David M. Shore

The Law Office of David M. Shore is dedicated to helping the injured and disabled obtained Social Security disability benefits. We represent applicants for Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Our clients have included doctors and lawyers, as well as construction workers and the homeless.
David Shore has practiced law since 1978, and has limited his practice exclusively to Social Security disability claims since 1993. David Shore has represented thousands of claimant's before the Social Security Administration, including administrative hearings and federal litigation. Most of his Social Security hearings are in San Diego County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Orange County. However, David Shore has represented claimants in hearings in Sacramento, San Jose, Alaska, Nevada and Arizona.
David Shore also has a long history of public service to his community. He was twice elected to the Sacramento City Council in the 1980s and served two years as vice mayor. He also served as President of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the Oceanside Public Safety Commission and Redevelopment Commission. David Shore served on the California Public Utility Commission Solar Advisory Board and the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization. He has also served on the board of nonprofits involving assistance to the homeless and public television.
From 1990 through 1993, David Shore was the executive Dean of the University of Northern California Lorenzo Patino School of Law.
Jeanette Peat is the senior paralegal for our office. Jeanette completed her paralegal studies at Watterson College in 1994. She also has an Associates of Arts in Pre-Law from Mira Costa Community College. Jeanette has been working exclusively in Social Security administrative law since 2003. Jeanette has been responsible for overseeing the processing, development and successful conclusion of thousands of cases handled by our office.
