What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

I personally handle all legal matters, and my clients are not pushed off to a less-experienced attorney. That said, I utilize a paralegal and law clerk to remain efficient and cost effective.

I regularly represent my clients in mediations. I have also served as an independent arbitrator in the common pleas court several times.

I have twelve years of civil defense practice, including insurance defense. That experience allows me to understand the strategies of the insurance carriers.

I think it is great for clients to educate themselves. Even when they need a lawyer to help, educated clients are a bonus.
