Before forming the law office of Hayes, Rode & Carrillo, P.L.L.C. each of our attorneys worked at other firms or other governmental agencies. Our attorneys have experience and expertise in complex family law matters including divorce and child custody, immigration law, construction law, breach of contract, DTPA issues, collaborative law, criminal defense for misdemeanors and felonies, and general civil litigation including tort claims.

Everyone's situation is unique to the individual. And, nothing can substitute for hiring a lawyer when divorcing or when dealing with the often complex legal issues that arise as a result of divorce.
However, the law offices of Hayes, Rode & Carrillo, P.L.L.C. has found that well informed clients usually make the best decisions.

While we offer free initial consultations, we typically do not "coach" clients on how to represent themselves.

We incorporate a team approach with our clients and always provide clients opportunities to do any work that does not require an attorney.
How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?
These alternative dispute resolution methods are always an option that we discuss with our clients. Our attorneys are experienced and have used each of these processes and can help you with these if that is an avenue that you want to take.
Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?
We are active in our community pro bono work but we are not currently takign pro bono cases via our firm. We frequently accept payment plans to work within our client's budgets.

We strive to be the most prepared litigator in the courtroom and we do this by getting to know you and the details of your case. We also incorporate a team approach with our clients, wherein we include our clients as part of our litigation team. When you call our firm, you will speak to an attorney about your case and not a paralegal or secretary.
