Firm History

Frank Ury has been in the practice of social security law for over 20 years, and has been helping people win their claims for disability benefits since 1985. Frank Ury handles cases at all levels of application and review, including initial applications, reconsideration requests and representation at hearings before an Administrative Law Judge.

Activities and Awards

Mr. Ury is regularly listed as a "Super Lawyer", a designation reserved for the top 5% of the attorneys practicing in the field of Social Security law. He recently was named as a "Hawaii Super Lawyer" and is the only Social Security disability attorney in the state to receive that honor. Frank Ury has made a number of appearances on public television for the Post Polio and You show and has also been a panelist at the Hawaii Lupus Foundation's Social Security forum. He has given informational seminars to the ILWU, and to the Work*Star Medical Group. He recently gave a national legal conference presentation to 400 Social Security attorneys regarding technical issues that arise in psychiatric disability claims.

WE WILL ASSIST YOU WITH ALL STAGES OF YOUR CLAIM, INCLUDING REPRESENTING YOU AT ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS AND ON APPEAL IN FEDERAL COURT. We have a highly skilled staff that is dedicated to keeping your claim running smoothly. They are able to quickly and knowledgeably answer your questions. Mr. Ury meets with clients in his office in Honolulu and throughout the state. He provides personal and vigorous representation in Social Security and SSI cases. Mr. Ury will make arrangements to come and meet with clients anywhere in Hawaii and telephone and e-mail consultation is always available.
