What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I'm wary of clients "educating" themselves on legal issues. Often when a client is doing "research" online they are reading information that is pertinent to other states and therefore have no bearing on their Arizona case. Additionally, clients often misinterpret the things that they do find online--even if it is true.
