Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

My goal is to provide the assistance the client wants, as long as the client understands what is and is not included in any given representation.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

At this time, Dueker Associates is a single lawyer practice, with assistance from a licensed social worker when that is appropriate for the client.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

I collaborate with the client and with others in all aspects of the work I do, and am always pleased to use mediation or other alternative dispute resolution to assist clients in the most effective and cost-conscious way.

Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?

I serve on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, and I am an active participant in the community I serve.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I seek to bring compassion to the challenges we face as we consider the end of life and other life transitions. My experience helps me to educate clients about the choices available to them, and to work with them to achieve their goals.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I was a law professor for a substantial part of my career, and I am committed to helping clients understand the issues that they face, and the choices that are available to them.
