Firm History
Donald W. Fohrman established Donald W. Fohrman & Associates, Ltd., in 1991 after leaving his former law firm which he established in 1971. Since that time, Donald W. Fohrman & Associates, Ltd., has represented injury victims throughout the State of Illinois. Our law firm also concentrates in representing union trade workers, airline employees and is one of only a few Illinois law firms who concentrate in representing Illinois firefighters and police officers who have been injured in the line-of-duty.
Example Cases
A 28 year old female insurance adjuster involved in an automobile accident suffered traumatic brain injury. Unable to hold any type of gainful employment. Was estranged from her husband and daughter. Required assistance in day to day activities. Case was settled under the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act for $2.7 million.
A 26 year old fire alarm installer fell from a scaffold sustaining multiple injuries which required long term hospitalization. Was able to return to work after lengthy rehabilitation. Workers Compensation case settled for $180,000 and a third party case was settled for $1.7 million.
