Firm History

Boone Law was founded in 2007 by Kristal Hall Boone because she wanted to make common legal services easily available to individuals, nonprofits and small businesses. Kristal Hall Boone focuses her practice in the areas of business law, nonprofit law and estate planning. Ms. Boone's experience includes, but is not limited to, the formation of for profit and nonprofit entities, representing buyers and sellers in the acquisition of a business, drafting and negotiating contracts, and preparation of wills and trusts. Ms. Boone is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with distinction and a minor in Urban Studies. After graduation, Ms. Boone attended Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee where she received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in May of 2005.

Awards: Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law Class of 2011; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Nashville Top 30 under 30 Honoree, 2009. Activities: Adjunct Professor, Belmont University; World Covenant Church International Board Member; Tennessee Bar Association YLD Long Range Planning Committee.

Most of our services are offered on a flat fee basis. Flat fee means you get a fixed price based on your project, instead of being charged by the hour. With a flat fee, there's no uncertainty about the price. You know exactly what you'll get and what it will cost before we start working together. No surprises. No watching the clock. Our office offers a free consultation for estate planning and charges a small fee for business consultations.

Typical Retainer

New clients are asked to pay at least half of the quoted flat fee before work begins.

Understanding Fees

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the state agency that licenses lawyers upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any state licensing agency.
