What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

If clients are able to educate themselves about the family law issues at hand through guidance from the firm or otherwise, the clients will be better able to make informed decisions on the various issues the come up through the divorce, child custody or other proceedings. Further, in such situations, clients are usually able to attain greater results while paying less in attorney’s fees.

Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes.

Yes, for a nominal fee.

Are your attorneys willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes.

What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

The firm delegates much of the daily and "routine work" to its legal assistants and paralegals, which results in a cost savings to the firm's clients.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

The firm utilizes mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods, including social early neutral evaluations (SENE) and financial early neutral evaluations to resolve approximately one-half of all cases.

Yes.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

The firm makes itself available to its clients potentially 24 hours a day and seven days a week when needed. Mr. Blahnik and his legal staff guide all of their clients through the legal process, alleviating much of the worries and anxieties that often times come with Court litigation.
