Over 90% of our full-time practice is devoted to providing bankruptcy assisting to individuals or small businesses.

This firm consists of the owner, Attorney John D'Amato, and one 3 assistants. We belive that providing our clients with close and continuing access to the firm's attorney while limiting the number of assistants that work on the case (generally only one assistant will help Attorney D'Amato with the case)will provide the best results for the client in all cases.

In law school I felt called to help those in need of Bankruptcy.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Over 19 years experience with Bankruptcy Law. Clients receive my personal attention.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We are a small office which can give personal attention to your bankruptcy needs. We care about our work product and belive that, in many instances, a client will be better served by receiving the personal attention of the law firm owner, rather than an associate attorney of the firm.

John D'Amato

John D'Amato received his education from the respected Hofstra University School of Law and Canisius College, from which faculty and administrators selected him from among over 1,000 graduates to be a recipient of the Outstanding Senior Award.

During his law school years, John was a Law Extern to a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge where he researched and drafted documents to assist the Judge with the issues arising in cases before her. It was this experience which first interested John in helping individuals and small businesses with their debt problems.

Subsequent to law school, John D'Amato entered into private practice and gained substantial experience helping thousands of individuals and small businesses overcome serious financial concerns.

John has been married for over 22 years and is the father of five children.
