How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
I am licensed by the State of Texas and US Federal District Court of North Texas. After spending four years as a municipal court judge, I decided to devote my law practice to just working in municipal court.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others
I have represented thousands of clients since 1994 with their speeding tickets and other traffic citations. As a former municipal court judge I have an understanding of what judges and juries are looking for in the courtroom.
What distinguishes your law firm from others?
While other attorneys may dabble in traffic tickets, it is the main focus of my practice. To be good in any area of the law, an attorney must devote a significant amount of time to that particular field. Traffic court is all I deal with.
Most attorneys that represent clients in traffic court do not wish to handle CDL violations and try to avoid going to trial. I have no such issues. A significant portion of my practice is devoted to CDL defense and trial work.

After graduating from the University of North Texas in 1987, I spent the next three years in Japan. Upon returning to the United States I entered law school.
I opened my own law practice in 1994 and was elected to a municipal court bench in 1999. After retiring as a judge I decided to dedicate my practice to solely working with traffic tickets and other driver's license issues.
