Both Julia Breslin Foster and Paul C. Hannaford have had personal experience with the bureaucratic shuffle that is U.S. Immigration law. This gave both partners a burning desire to simplify and help others do the same.

Paul Hannaford

A U.S. resident born in Hong Kong, Paul has dual citizenship in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. Paul has personal experience with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and can empathize in all matters relating to U.S. immigration. It was through his experiences that led him to become an Immigration Attorney.

Upon graduating from law school in the UK, Paul worked in financial services with Merrill Lynch in Ireland before pursuing a legal career. Prior to arriving in the United States he worked with a criminal barrister in the UK.

Paul has worked pro bono for a civil litigation firm which focused on representing undocumented immigrants. He has successfully worked with individual clients and other attorneys as well as national and international organizations. Paul volunteers with many charitable organizations including but not limited to representing clients in immigration court with Kids In Need of Defense (KIND).

Paul is admitted to practice state law in New York and can practice immigration law throughout the United States, he is also a Massachusetts notary.

Paul's practice is limited to Immigration matters.

Julia Breslin Foster

Julia earned her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2006. While at FSU, she studied international business and trade law, international human rights law, and immigration and asylum law. Julia then attended Lund University in Sweden where she graduated in 2008 with an LL.M. in international human rights law.

Prior to moving to Boston in 2010, Julia was a research and editorial associate at Freedom House, a non-profit human rights organization based in New York City. While at Freedom House, she traveled extensively throughout the Middle East conducting research for the seminal publication Women's Rights in the Middle East and North Africa.

Julia has been a pro bono immigration attorney for KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) and Lutheran Social Services since 2010. In this capacity, she has successfully represented immigrants before Massachusetts family courts and the U.S. immigration court.

Julia speaks Spanish at a conversational level. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts and can practice immigration law throughout the United States.
