Deer, Stone, & Maya, PC

Lawrence Maya is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Maya has focused his practice on being an advocate for individuals who have been injured as the result of negligence and wrongdoing. He practices plaintiff's personal injury litigation in all counties of the State of Illinois, handling depositions, arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Maya has tried numerous cases to verdict before a jury, in Chicago and in the surrounding counties in Illinois. His practice includes cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises and products liability, and railroad accidents. Mr. Maya has also successfully litigated several food poisoning and contamination cases. He has also argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, in Chicago, Illinois, and authored numerous appellate briefs.

Mr. Maya also maintains ties to the community. In 2001, he wrote a legal advice and information column for the La Raza newspaper. Mr. Maya joined the law firm of Deer and Stone, P.C. in 2002. The law firm became Deer, Stone & Maya, P.C., on January 1, 2009.
