How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I became interested in the bankruptcy practice area because I saw how I could help the consumer to save their home, save their business and just basically save their lives from financial ruin and by helping them get a fresh start.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

I'm Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in Consumer Bankruptcy. I have successfully filed approximately 5000 bankruptcy petitions and I have successfully represented consumers for over 30 years.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Action Advocacy, PC works in filing for bankruptcy but also helps clients reestablish their credit rating within 12 to 14 months after they file.

We have an extensive program setup where we offer tools that help you get your credit back on track rather than burning the field and walking away.

Bankruptcy burns the fields and gets rid of all the debt, but then you need to go back onto the land and pull out the stumps, and boulders and prepare the ground for planting again. I see obtaining financial repair as a two-step process - a process where you file for bankruptcy and the other aspect is reestablishing your credit score. The third aspect would be debt consolidation - before you declare bankruptcy we find out if you can consolidate your debts and avoid the process entirely.
