Clark W. Berry

Fort Myers Lawyer, Clark Berry, grew up in Fort Myers, Florida, attending local schools and graduating from Bishop Verot before attending and receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. After attending law school in Birmingham, Alabama, he returned to Fort Myers, Florida where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Clark began his career as a trial attorney in 1986 as a prosecuting attorney and later went on to a civil litigation practice, trying his first civil jury trials and workers compensation trials in 1989. Currently, Clark practices in his Fort Myers Law Firm as a trial attorney in Social Security Disability law matters and workman’s comp law. He is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator and an Accredited Veterans Administration Attorney.

Over the course of his career, Clark has served variously, as an Assistant State Attorney, as an Assistant School Board Attorney for the School Board of Lee County, Florida, as Attorney to the Lee County Board of Construction Adjustment and Appeal, The Lee County Contractors Licensing Board, the City of Cape Coral Contractors Regulatory Board and the Cape Coral Code Enforcement Board. In addition, Clark has actively practiced labor law including public employee union-management negotiations, litigation and appeals. He currently serves on the Lee County School Board Budget Advisory committee and the City of Fort Myers Code Enforcement Board.

In his spare time, Clark enjoys Southwest Florida with his family, writes excellent fiction that deserves to be, (but has not yet been) published and is active in local politics and political campaigns.
