Gary L. Casinghino is a native of Manchester, New Hampshire. He graduated from Central high school in 1971, where he was President of the Student Council. He graduated from Holy Cross College in 1976 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center. He is admitted to practice law before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston.
From 1983 to 1986, Attorney Casinghino served as Assistant County Attorney for Hillsborough County, where he prosecuted misdemeanor appeal and felony cases and gained extensive jury trial experience. From 1986 to 1997, Attorney Casinghino was engaged in an active litigation practice with the firm Craig, Wenners, Craig and Casinghino, P.A., in Manchester. In 1997, he joined Nixon, Raiche, Manning & Casinghino, P.A. as a partner with primary concentration in personal injury litigation, including workersâ compensation, automobile accidents, and insurance disputes.
Since January 2005, Attorney Casinghino has maintained his own law practice, Casinghino Law Office, PLLC, now located at 84 Bay St., Manchester, New Hampshire. He continues to focus on the representation of injured workers in their workersâ compensation cases and representation of victims of motor vehicle and other accidents.
Attorney Casinghino has always had a strong interest in serving the New Hampshire community. He was elected to the New Hampshire legislature in 1981, where he served as a member of the House Judiciary Committee and was twice elected as an Alderman of the City of Manchester in the early 1980s. He has served as a member of the Manchester Planning Board and was Chairman of The City of Manchester Trustees of Trust Funds from 1989 to 1995. Attorney Casinghino and his wife have homes in Manchester and Lincoln, New Hampshire and have three adult children. He is a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Manchester, NH and St. Josephâs Church in Lincoln, NH. He served on the Parish Council of St. Catherine Church from 1992 to 1996, including two years as vice chairman. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Manchester YMCA from 1998 to 2001.
