We are highly effective litigators, but we take great pride in our ability to settle cases fairly without the high cost of unnecessary litigation. Morck Family Law was founded in 1995 with the goal of meeting clients' family law needs while minimizing conflict. We aim to provide clients exemplary personal service at a reasonable cost. How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

My undergraduate and graduate education, prior to law school, was heavily involved with the family and children. My selection of family law was a logical extension of my schooling and interests.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

The more clients know about the law and the process, the better able they are able to make the decisions that are best for them and their family. As part of my representation, I try to educate the client on the issues and the law so that the best decisions are made in determining the case outcome.

Wendy Ann Morck

I served as a Deputy District Attorney in Family Support for San Mateo County for 8 years prior to entering private practice. My legal career has always been in the area of family law.

My training in family and child development gives me a strong background in the dynamics of family law.

My ability to help reach mutually agreeable settlements in cases that are fair and reasonable.

I try to facilitate decision making by helping the parties to creatively resolve issues in a manner that benefits both sides. I strive for a "win-win" solution to resolve problems.

Personal interests:

I am a floral designer who does volunteer work arranging flowers in the house at Filoli. I also teach classes in floral design at Filoli. I have exhibited the last 5 years at "Bouquets to Art" at both the de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
