We are a small law firm, two lawyers, representing debtors in bankruptcy proceedings. We offer personal attention with easy contact through the complexity of the bankruptcy labyrinth. We focus on clients from the Northern and Middle districts of Georgia, Gainesville and Athens Divisions.
I opened my present law office in 2004, having specialized in a practice in the bankruptcy field since the 1990's. I departed a law firm with offices throughout Georgia, having headed up their offices in both Athens and Gainesville.
We have filed over a thousand bankruptcy cases in the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.

I receive much personal and immediate satisfaction from assisting people who find themselves in seemingly hopeless circumstance to find a new beginning.
Much information is available on the internet for individuals seeking debt relief through the bankruptcy system with many sources providing petition, schedules and other required forms. We hope that individuals will avail themselves of as much information as they are able to digest. The system and process, however, is complex and time sensitive. Pro se filers may endanger their rights and lose valuable relief through lack of information and ignorance of the system. Dollar for dollar, we offer inexpensive assistance in an extremely important undertaking.
I will review forms for clients for no charge, but I will not sign the forms as a "preparer." I believe that this free review will alert clients to the complexity of bankruptcy law and help clients understand their need for professional representation.
My fees for coaching clients who wish to represent themselves is the same as it would be if I represented them.
While I was admitted to the Bar in Georgia in 1982, I left the practice of law to return to the service of my country in the United States Air Force in 1984. A C-130 Tactics Instructor/Command Pilot, I was recalled to active duty and served as Chief Pilot at the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training School (AATTC) in St. Joseph, MO. Retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1992, I returned to Georgia and the private practice of law. I was a sole practitioner in a general practice prior to joining Bob Dunn and Associates and specializing in bankruptcy law.
Having begun work as a science teacher in public education and with a career as an officer in the military, I have a lifetime of experience working and helping people.
Our clients feel confident in their representation through our personal contact and extensive time spent in helping them understand the unique problems arising in their particular case with the solutions we advise.
Personal interests:In my spare time, my hobbies include flying and scuba.
