How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I started in criminal defense because I wanted to be in court. I can't imagine sitting in an office doing research--I want to get in the thick of things, and I have fun when I'm doing it.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Before I even hear my client's story, I educate them. I explain what the law is and the elements of the criminal procedure.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

No, this is unnecessary.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

No, in a criminal case, I wouldn't even represent myself.
