Parent's challenge to state imposed attendance guidelines, favorable court of appeal decision reversed by California Supreme Court.

Successfully defeated at trial and on appeal challenge by limited partner to actions of general partner.
Malibu Bay Club vs. Martinek
Suit brought by homeowners association against homeowner asserting unauthorized alterations. Trial court found for homeowner as prevailing party. HOA appealed, then abandoned appeal.

I became a lawyer as a young man. My prior job experiences help me understand that there can be surgical and creative solutions to conflict rather than battles of attrition. It inspires me to find that elegant simple solution. It inspires me to find that elegant simple solution so people can achieve their ambitions.
I really look for a practical outcome. I seek clarity and honesty of thought in communicating with clients. I'm quite willing to delegate where my expertise is not congruent with the problem presented.
I attempt to do for others what I would want someone to do for me. I can disagree steadfastly without making it personal or getting angrier than the situation calls for.
I enjoy reading, travel, family, golf, and physical activity including gardening.
