My focus is on business transactions, trademark and copyright legal services, and business consulting services for small business clients. I offer flat-fees and up-front pricing. I also provide services to self-help clients, often entrepreneurs who are bootstrapping their business and need assistance with business planning, trademarks and branding, basic contracts and other legal issues.
I obtained my law degree from Barry University School of Law in 2006 and now practice in the areas of corporate law and intellectual property with a focus on small business. Prior to my legal career, I worked for over ten years as a database and systems engineer and as a consultant for software firms. I spent more than three years at a large local law firm before following my heart and starting the small firm of Innes & Meehle in 2009. Though the firm eventually disbanded, I continued to follow my heart as a solo practitioner with The Meehle Law Firm, which was founded in December 2010.
Due to client-attorney confidentiality, I do not share information about prior cases. For more information about my firm, please visit my website.

I am a serial entrepreneur, having run small businesses at several points in my life. I understand what my small business clients go through, and I understand what they need from a lawyer.
My strengths are a knowledge of both business law and intellectual property law (trademarks and copyrights), which covers most of the issues that small businesses have. I also have experience as an entrepreneur that allows me to better understand my clients' needs. My style is very casual - no marble or mahogany - but professional. I believe in building relationships with clients so that they are never afraid to call with a question.
Personal interests:Cooking and baking; scuba diving; travel; blues music; and spending time with my husband, Tim, and our dog, Legal.
