What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I am all for it.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
Yes.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
Depending on the case and client.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I enjoy the analytical process of trying to arrive at a conclusion.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
Accumulated day-to-day interaction with attorneys and judges.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
Family law gives me the most discretion with regard to case management and client relations.
What do you like best about your career?
I can see very clearly when things are going well for people, unlike other areas of law.
Tell us about your law firm:
I am a sole practitioner, and this is our fourth year of practice. Current staff includes our receptionist and secretary, who help with the daily routine. Our office is not limited to the issues that occur after your divorce. We handle all of the matters in starting your divorce as well. My staff and I can help you all the way from filing the petition, through dividing assets and debts, and making arrangements for child custody and visitation in Sacramento, Placer and Nevada counties.
What are your strengths and style?
I patiently work through issues and avoid unnecessarily inflaming passions or tensions between the parties, as they need to co-parent for a very long time.

Community organizations and involvement.
